I love the title you chose. I know, that sounds like such a cop-out of a comment, but a good title is *really hard* to get, and you nailed it, setting up a tension of expectations for the weight and content of what comes after.

I like that line about nature reclaiming the ruins–and how green growth might be a way of disguising ancient violence as “celebration.”

Your title is really strong. I read the sarcasm in it too. Maybe sarcasm isn’t the right word, indignation?
