Worcester City Hall Fire & Ice Art Show

I am a bit late getting this posted because of the holidays and such but I wanted to blog about it before the show ends.

I had two photos selected to hang in the Worcester City Hall Gallery for the theme of Fire & Ice.

WHERE?
Art Gallery/Basement Hallway (to garage)
Worcester City Hall
455 Main Street
Worcester, MA

WHEN?
The show runs from November 30, 2017, through February 2018.

The Spring show is coming up. The theme is “Rebirth.” I am considering entering again. It’s always fun to have art hanging in a gallery. The shows are sponsored by Worcester Cultural Coalition. If you are interested in entering, you can find more information here.

You May Have Noticed

I have been posting a lot of photo challenges lately and not as much of the writing challenges.

I have been super busy with life and haven’t had as much time for writing as I would like, but I do have a massive photo archive. I haven’t given up on the writing and I am sad to miss out on the weekly challenges.

Hopefully, things will settle down so I can do more of it. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the photos.

The Perfect Shot

Waiting patiently, still, positioned just so, sweat trickles down my temples. I watch birds and insects flutter in and out of my frame. The sun is bright, and the grass is itchy, but I will stay just a few moments longer with finger poised on the button depressed halfway. I wait for the perfect shot, and sometimes I am rewarded for my dedication.
